Attended in the years 1958-1960 and left for Canada. We came to London, Ontario, where we have lived since leaving Knightswood. Have fine memories of Knightswood and I believe Mr Christie was the principal. Would sure be great to hear from anyone who was there at that time and particular any classmates. I attended KSS between 1966 and 1970, then I attended Cardonald College for Electronics.I left Glasgow for Canada in 1975 and have been here ever since. I was so happy to let my kids see some information on my old school. Hopefully there will be someone that remembers me. I attended Knightswood Secondary around 1977-1983 with the likes of Stewart Barclay, Robert Rowan, Scott McIntosh, Lorna Cowie, Margaret Roberts, Ian Maxwell, Alan Griffiths, Alan Summers and Alex Goodwin to name a few. After getting my degree I left Scotland to work all around the globe for the oil industry as a systems analyst before returning home to Glasgow where I now live with my wife and two children. I still fondly remember the headmaster at that time - Mr Norman MacAuley.

I was a pupil at KSS from 1941-43 when the Headmaster was Mr Laverty. The class was S1ac and S11ac. I left Glasgow and now live in Glenrothes. I remember just before I left the science lab went on fire. It was in the wooden annexe along with the woodwork/music and history classes. I think the gym was taken over for the ARP at that time and we used the building in Knightscliffe Road. Hope to hear from some ex pupils.

I attended Knightswood Primary from 1951-57 then the secondary until 1964. I remember Mr Christie, the Head and Mr Peggie, Chemistry and before him Mr Cunningham. He used to smoke in the Lab prep room! Brilliant! I played in the football teams up to the First XI - good team although I say it myself! Remember the last day when we carried one of the teachers cars into the school?! Happy days! Where's Fergie, Alan Robertson, etc. Please get in touch if you remember me. Cheers!
